U REMOTE
Weidmuller’s U-Remote line of products offers adaptability and modularity in a versatile, compact package. Our client, a sizeable quarry operation exploiting an asphalt plant, uses three different brands of PLC throughout their facility. As our client introduced more-accurate technology for weighing and communication, they needed more remote I/O blocks to pick up critical signals and integrate them in numerous functions. INTEGRATING TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES
In the last five years, we have strived to stay on the cutting edge of technological advances in automation, motion and axis displacement, electronic interface, and communication networks. To do this, we have built an application-driven support group focused on helping our sales force understand the intricacies of our many products and, more importantly, successfully interface with our machine builders to support them in implementing our automation products on their equipment. We recently added a full range of pneumatic controls and actuators capable of interfacing with our PLC based solutions.
PAC DRIVE
We recently delivered a Schneider Electric Delta 3 kinematics manipulator. This is an integrated solution with everything you need, including robot mechanics, servo systems, and a robotics library. The stainless-steel Delta 3, designed for pick and place for lighter products and nominal distance applications, is used in a washdown configuration (suitable for food production). Its software includes a preprogrammed interface for ease of integration. This is a completely integrated servo pack solution that provides for an affordable solution when compared to traditional robotic technology.
